This is basically going to be a rant where I will vent my disgust at this newspaper. If you are a fan of the paper do not read it.
When the News Of The World closed down due to the phone hacking scandal there was cheers of joy. Why? Because we had got rid of one of the worst examples of journalism ever to exist. At home my family read The Sun so when I get a chance to I will read the paper, disagree with a lot of it, then moan at how society can be so stupid as to like the rubbish. Why is it rubbish? Because everything that comes out of the sun has to be gossip. I don't care if Bob from Berkshire lost his Bucket, I care more about the Syrian Uprising or maybe about the planned privatisation of the NHS. Surely that should be taking the front page and not that Katie Price is dating another poor man. The Sun was an example of that, The News of the World however took things further. Every few pages in that paper there will be some kind of "Journalism" that will make me angry. Why? Because it'll be about gossip. The Sun eventually will pick up on key stories, The News of the World however just continues going on and on about Kim Kardashian (Spelling may be incorrect.) or David Beckham going out for a drink.
We then go on to the reason why it was closed down. Because of a scandal, in my opinion by opening up The Sun on Sunday, hereforth known as NotW MkII, Murdoch has destroyed the one noble thing he ever did. By closing down The News of the World he did the right thing, there had been enough scandal and it was game over. In my opinion by re-opening the paper it feels as if he's forgotten about that. It doesn't matter about all the lives effected and human rights destroyed. As long as his "Almighty and Loyal Readers" get rubbish journalism everyday of the week everyone can be happy. Well I for one am not. I see it as a betrayal and allowing the scandal to be forgotten.
So yes, there are two main reasons for why I'm angry and therefore I ask you to join me in a boycott. Please do not read NotW MkII. It's wrong and should be found as illegal.
