Well after last night's dramatic conclusion to Sherlock Series 2 we were left hanging (For about 20 minutes) Will there be an S3. The answer being yes! In 2013 we can expect a new series to be on our screens with Holmes cracking more mysteries. But after The Reichenbach Fall is this a good idea, can they really fix it up for a Sherlock return?
My answer is yes they can! The writing on this drama is honestly superb and I think the partnership of (Steven) Moffat and (Mark) Gatiss means this programme can now do anything. When I watch Sherlock I feel as though they were born to write the programme, everything works, even his survival from the drop off St Bartholomew's Hospital. If they can make his come-back scene look good they can make an excellent explaination.
Sherlock's "Suicide" was set up perfectly for the return, especially with Molly being needed by him, this obviously gave a foreshadow of things to come. Ms Hudson will be easily convinced so I don't worry about the writing for her, however will I be able to believe his solution that's going to be told to Watson, I just don't know, the way I see it the conclusion will either be brilliant or destroy Sherlock.
But anyway, this series really is great and my overall view on Series 3 is positive, I can't wait for more superb episodes of at the moment Britain's best show. Let's just hope the standards stay outstanding!
